What’s the difference between a Free Hearing Test and a Comprehensive Audiology Assessment?

Our Free Hearing Test, conducted by one of Acuity’s dedicated and experienced Audiologists, lasts approximately 20 minutes. Its aim is to determine whether there is any hearing loss present and give you an indication of your hearing ability. A comprehensive Audiology Assessment will be recommended if significant loss is present.

A Diagnostic Hearing Test, also known as a Comprehensive Hearing Assessment, is a thorough examination of an individual’s hearing abilities. Unlike the Free Hearing Test, a Diagnostic Hearing Test provides detailed information about the type, degree, and configuration of any hearing loss present, as well as the potential underlying causes.
